Energy supplier no longer operating?

If your energy supplier is no longer operating and previously provided you with Feed-in payments, you'll need to approach a new FiT Licensee (a new supplier) to continue to receive these FiT payments, or you may choose to register with EDF.

If you'd like to change from your current Feed-in Tariff provider to EDF, please complete our application form by choosing ‘Change of FIT supplier’. Please use our form to register for Feed-in Tariff . For other information, head to our help and advice page.

If you've recently installed new technology that generates electricity from a renewable source

Please be aware that the Feed-in Tariff scheme closed on 31 March 2019 for all new applicants. However, you may be eligible for the Smart Export Guarantee incentive, which rewards you for the energy you export. Please go to our Smart Export Guarantee page to find out more. If you're already a FIT customer, you won't be affected by the scheme's closure.
